This week the pod is broken into two segments; one with Drew and Harrison, the other with Drew and Matthias. Drew and Harry talk Sounders vs Galaxy, and look at how badly the Galaxy would need to eff up to blow MLS Cup 2014. Then Drew and Matthias talk Red Bulls v Revolution, and what it would take for New England to pull the upset.
Drew and Harrison are joined again by Sean Steffen to discuss laundry, the quarterfinals of the MLS Playoffs, nicknames in MLS, how terrible keepers are as color commentators, and the inevitability of either the Galaxy or Sounders becoming MLS champs.
Drew, Harrison, and Matty chat about new digs, the USMNT roster, turmoil in Toronto (sound familiar?), if the Galaxy can be stopped (spoiler alert: no), and a nice result for Portland on the road.
This week I speak with Mike F (@irishoutsider) about a full range of various MLS financial topics. We cover MLS soon on coming CBA negotiations, the purchase of Chivas and the possibility of franchise valuation and how guys on top Championship League teams might be enticed to MLS-- Joey Barton, Mike wants you in Chicago.
Enjoy!
